Shakib’s five-for and Litton’s record-breaking fifty give Bangladesh 2-0 lead over Ireland

Toss Ireland won the toss and chose to bowl against Bangladesh

Ireland captain Paul Stirling decided to bowl first against Bangladesh in the second T20I in Chattogram. The visitors want to repeat what they did in the last game in terms of bowling better in the different periods of the innings. Stirling’s opposite number Shakib Al Hasan said that he didn’t mind batting first, particularly after his side posted 207-5 in the first T20I.
The visitors are forced to make one change. Fionn Hand plays his first game on tour in place of Craig Young, who Stirling only said is back at the team hotel in Chattogram. The home side are going with the same XI, with the three specialist spinners and three fast bowlers.

There was heavy rain after the toss, despite a weather forecast of little to no rain for the day.

Bangladesh, who have already won the ODI series against Ireland, lead the bilateral T20Is 1-0 after the 22-run win in the first game on March 27. The third T20I is on March 31, at the same venue.
