Toss Afghanistan chose to bowl vs Pakistan

Afghanistan won the toss and opted to bowl first in the final T20I in Sharjah against Pakistan. In a series that the hosts have already wrapped up with victories on Friday and Sunday, Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan won the toss for the first time and opted to stick to chasing.

Afghanistan made two changes to their side from the second game. Azmatullah Omarzai and Naveen-ul-Haq are sitting out, with fast bowler Farid Ahmed coming into the side. Sediqullah Atal, the 21-year-old batter, was handed his debut cap.

Pakistan, looking to avoid just their second-ever clean sweep in a series longer than two matches, also made a pair of changes. Azam Khan, who has struggled for runs and was poor behind the wickets in both T20Is, made way for Iftikhar Ahmed. That means opener Mohammad Haris takes over the wicketkeeping gloves. Meanwhile, Naseem Shah has been rested, allowing Mohammad Wasim to return.
