New Zealand vs Sri Lanka, 1st Test, Day 2 Highlights: Sri Lanka have been all over New Zealand on Day 2 of the ongoing 1st Test at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch. The hosts are three wickets down after losing quick wickets in the final session. Tom Latham, however, is going strong for the Kiwis, despite wickets falling at the other end. Tim Southee bagged five wickets as Sri Lanka were bowled oout for 355 on Day 2. Earlier, the visitors posted 305 runs at the loss of 6 wickets on the opening day of the game after New Zealand skipper Tim Southee won the toss and opted to bowl first in the game. Kusal Mendis shone with an 87-run knock, while Dimuth Karunaratne scored 50. Southee was the pick of the bowlers on Day 1 with a three-wicket haul. (SCORECARD)
