Ellis and Finch star as Australia leave Pakistan with a win

Australia

Pakistan, who had begun brightly with Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, as they often tend to do, lost their way through the middle overs, losing six wickets for 24 runs in a disappointing game for the middle order. Babar did bring up his own 33-ball half-century but struggled thereafter. Ben Dwarshuis aside, every specialist bowler made in impact in one way or another, with Sean Abbott keeping things tight up top, while Adam Zampa provided the perfect foil for Cameron Green and Nathan Ellis to run riot from the other end. Only a final-over charge from Usman Qadir got Pakistan to 162, meaning the bowlers had something to work with.
