Mills’ tournament comes to a premature end after he picked up a right thigh strain

Tymal Mills has been ruled out of the remainder of the T20 World Cup with a right thigh strain. Reece Topley, who had been travelling with the England squad as a reserve player, has been added to the side as Mills’ replacement.
Mills sustained the injury bowling in the Super 12s match against Sri Lanka on Monday in Sharjah, and results of the subsequent scans on Tuesday night revealed the extent of the injury, which brought his tournament to a premature end.
