Pakistan decide to bring in Haris Rauf for the rested Shaheen Afridi

West Indies opt to bat vs Pakistan

West Indies decided to bat first in the third T20I, a must win game for the hosts to keep the series alive.

The toss was delayed by rain, but eventually took place 30 minutes later than scheduled.

Kieron Pollard said he wanted to have first crack on the pitch. Opener Evin Lewis was ruled out for West Indies after he walked off from what seemed like exhaustion in the previous match on Saturday, with allrounder Andre Russell back in the XI in his place.
In Lewis’ absence, Chris Gayle was all set to open the innings alongside Andre Fletcher after taking up the new No. 3 position since earlier this year.

Pakistan, on the other hand, brought in Haris Rauf for the rested Shaheen Shah Afridi.

West Indies: 1 Andre Fletcher, 2 Chris Gayle, 3 Shimron Hetmyer, 4 Nicholas Pooran (wk), 5 Andre Russell, 6 Kieron Pollard (capt), 7 Jason Holder, 8 Romario Shepherd, 9 Dwayne Bravo, 10 Hayden Walsh Jr, 11 Akeal Hosein

Pakistan: : 1 Mohammad Rizwan (wk), 2 Sharjeel Khan, 3 Babar Azam (capt), 4 Fakhar Zaman 5 Mohammad Hafeez 6 Sohaib Maqsood 7 Shadab Khan 8 Hasan Ali 9 Mohammad Wasim 10 Usman Qadir 11 Haris Rauf
