The Delhi Capitals legspinner had tested positive for the virus on May 4

Amit Mishra has recovered from Covid-19. The Delhi Capitals legspinner, who had tested positive for the virus on May 4, tweeted his gratitude to healthcare workers on Tuesday.

Mishra tested positive on the same day that IPL 2021 was suspended indefinitely, when the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic sweeping across India began to penetrate the tournament’s biosecure bubble, with players and staff from multiple franchises – including four from the Kolkata Knight Riders – testing positive for the virus.
