Tamim Iqbal said his side wanted a target of around 260 to defend

Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal decided to bat first after winning the toss against Afghanistan in the second ODI in Chattogram, and said his side wanted a target of around 260. His opposite number Hashmatullah Shahidi said that Afghanistan would have bowled first had they won the toss, in what is a must-win game for the visitors.

Bangladesh have gone in unchanged while Afghanistan have made three changes. They have brought in opener Riaz Hassan, pacer Fareed Ahmad and allrounder Azmatullah Omarzai. Ibrahim Zadran, Yamin Ahmadzai and Gulbadin Naib were left out.

Bangladesh lead the three-match ODI series 1-0.
