T20 World Cup Moved From India To UAE, Tournament To Begin On October 17: Sources

The upcoming Twenty20 World Cup has been moved out of India and the tournament will now be played in the United Arab Emirates, sources told NDTV. The tournament will begin on October 17 and the final will take place on November 14. Earlier this month, news agency PTI had reported that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has internally intimated the ICC that they wouldn’t mind the T20 World Cup being held in the UAE. The Indian cricket board will keep the hosting rights of the marquee tournament even though it will be held in the UAE as India was the host for the showpiece event.
